Museum "History of Settlement Paikent"

The pride of the Bukhara museum is created on the initiative of the Bukhara museum, Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the State Hermitage Museum "History Paikent settlement." The museum contains a wealth of factual material through systematic archaeological research joint expedition of the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and the State Hermitage Museum. As a result of these works Paikent fort turned into a monument to the reference, which allowed to highlight many of the issues of formation and development of the urban culture of the lower reaches of the Zarafshan.
