Memorial Museum Abdurauf Fitrat
Museums of Bukhara
A museum dedicated to the life and work of one of the founders of the Jadid movement in Bukhara Abdurauf Fitrat was opened in 1996.
Abdurauf Fitrat (1886-1937 years) - an outstanding son of Bukhara people, social and political activist, writer, scientist, poet, a connoisseur of the past of the Uzbek people, its spiritual culture.
In Bukhara and other cities of Uzbekistan Abdurauf Fitrat gathered most valuable collection of ancient oriental manuscripts (150 units), which in 1934 was admitted to the State Public Library in the city of Tashkent.
